Standing 8 Count has been characterized as one of Tampa Bay's premier jazz bands.

Their repertoire ranges across the genre and encompasses music from the likes of classic masters Les McCann and Eddie Harris, to the more contemporary jazz trade of Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones, with an occasional spattering

of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis and Michael Franks.
